Check this out, this blog is now mine, to do with as I please. OMG, this is so cool, people are going to come here thinking it's for atheists, only to discover it belongs to a staunch theist. What a smack in the face.

Anyway, it's a damn shame I didn't save the contents of the original sgatheist blog, or I would have put them up here.
Here's some history of this blog, it was started by this athiest dude called sgatheist(singapore atheist), and I read it, and I found it quite stirring. So I commented on it, and I said some nasty things about sgatheist, all true though. So sgatheist got miffed and deleted the blog.
Now, I've taken over it, to slay the problem(that atheism is) from within.
All your base are belong to us.
That being said, I don't think i'm really going to be doing much with this blog, unless something interesting comes up again.

It's a pity...it would have been better to have a proper discussion on this, rather than have things happen like this.
It's was next to impossible to have a propper discussion with the dude. He made it clear that he didn't have time for theists. And he didn't really pay attention to what I was saying, I was rude, but I still had good points. Anyway deleting the blog was not the solution.
That's true too, opening this blog and not wanting to discuss properly on this isn't really the way eh..

I never saw the original site so I'm curious. What were the 'good points' that you made against the previous owner's arguments?
Niraj, The previous owner did not have any arguments. He just wanted this quiet blog where atheists could come and bask in their oblivion of religion.
Anyway, my points were his lack of good reason for being an atheist, his inability to read comments and respond appropriately, and his lack of conviction; validated respectively by his choosing to be an atheist based solely on the facts that his parents did not teach him any religion and that his IC had nil under religion, his response to my comments made up largely of vulgarities and having no real argument, and his decision to delete his blog after reading about four theist comments and actually deleting it after maybe six.

Oh the original fella wasn't very bright to begin with. I gave him pointers, not sure if he followed up on them.
And by the way, oblivion is an individual choice.

Nope, not at all true. Being a believer in any religion makes you definately not atheist. by definition.

I think that both shaun and the sgatheist dude were wrong: shaun for being rude and taking the blog over, and sgatheist not rebutting shaun's points logically and deleting the blog.
If I were sgatheist I would have done things differently.
